Tim Stuart - Accompanist

Tim has played the organ from the age of 11 and studied with Peter Goodman on
Hull City Organ. His accompanying has taken him from small Parish Churches to
very large scale concert venues and Cathedrals in Wales England and Scotland,
Performances abroad include Paris (Notre Dame), Brussels Cathedral, Ghent
Cathedra, St Mark's Basilica, Venice and the Nikolaskirche in Berlin - Spandau.
He has accompanied a large range of choirs, ranging from small community
ensembles to very large choral societies and choir associations numbering
200 or more singers.
Tim is the organist for the 2007 National Eisteddfod of Wales.
Piano accompaniment repertoire includes: a huge repertoire of instrumental
and vocal music including opera, musicals and ballet as well as numerous
choir, choral society and instrumental accompaniments.
He regularly plays for sopranos Día Steinthórsdóttir and Vanessa Nuttall
and works as a duo with concert violinist Judith Eastham.
Diana Palmerston, David Palmer, Arthur Davies, Edmund Barham, Geraint Dodd,
Stewart Armstrong, Caroline Tate-Lovery, Bryn Terfel, Helen Field, Maple Yu
and John Gough are among the very many other well known artists he has worked
with as pianist in concerts and broadcasts.
Tim is the accompanist for the Sirenian Singers, the Denbigh & St Asaph Choral
Societies and the Four Counties Youth Choir, and is also the musical director
of Mold & District Choral Society .
