St Asaph Choral Society (SACS) is committed to being an inviting, inclusive and friendly environment for all members. We aim to maintain the highest level of professionalism within rehearsals, concerts and in communication with all our musicians.

• Conduct – all choir members must continue to treat fellow choristers with kindness and respect. The state of mutual respect is to be maintained between members and the volunteer committee team. Any member wishing to report a grievance should inform the committee via email choralsocietystasaph@gmail.com. In such instances, the committee’s decision is final.
• Attendance – we request that our members commit to maintaining a minimum of 75% attendance at rehearsals if they intend to sing in a concert. If any choir member is unable to uphold this commitment, it is to be understood that they may not be permitted to sing in the concert. However the committee may agree to exceptions due to extenuating circumstances.
• Concerts – attendance of the penultimate and final concert day rehearsal is expected of those members who are participating in the concert. Exceptions may be made for unforeseen circumstances.
• Absence – if a choir member is unable to attend a rehearsal or concert, they must inform the Secretary via email choralsocietystasaph@gmail.com Members are requested not to report absences via the Whats App groups in order to maintain confidentiality.
• New members – new members may treat their first rehearsal as a taster session.

Cymdeithas Gorawl Llanelwy Disgwyliadau Aelodaeth

Mae Cymdeithas Gorawl Llanelwy (SACS) yn gweithio i fod yn amgylchedd croesawgar, cynhwysol a chyfeillgar i bob aelod. Anelwn at y lefel uchaf o broffesiynoldeb o fewn ymarferion, cyngherddau ac wrth gyfarthrebu a’n holl gerddorion.

• Ymddygiad – gofynwn i holl aelodau’r cor barhau i drin eu cyd-aelodau gyda charedigrwydd a pharch. Rhaid i’r parch barhau rhwng aelodau’r cor a thim y pwyllgor. Os fydd achos, dylai aelod sydd ac unrhyw gwyn adael i aelod o’r pwyllgor wybod drwy yrru e-bost at: choralsocietystasaph@gmail.com Mewn achosion o’r fath, mae penderfyniad y pwyllgor yn derfynnol.
• Presenoldeb – gofynnwn i’n healodau fod yn bresennol mewn o leiaf 75% o ymarferion os ydynt yn bwriadu canu yn y cyngerdd. Os oes unrhyw aelod yn methu gwneud hyn, na chaniateir iddynt ganu yn y gyngerdd. Fydd modd i’r pwyllgor gytuno unrhyw eithriadau priodol.
• Cyngherddau – yr aelodau hynny sydd yn cymryd rhan mewn cyngerdd fydd yn gorfod dod i’r ddau ymarfer olaf cyn y unrhyw gyngerdd. Gall y pwyllgor wneud eithriadau ar gyfer amgylchiadau annisgwyl.
• Absenoldeb – os na all aelod o’r cor ddod i ymarferion neu cyngerdd, rhaid gadael i’r Ysgrifennydd drwy ebost at: choralsocietystasaph@gmail.com Gofynnwn i aelodau beidio a gyrru neges ‘What’s App’ ynglyn a’g absenoldebau er mwyn cynnal cyfrinachedd.
• Aelodau newydd – gall aelodau newydd drin eu ymarfer cyntaf fel sesiwn flas.
